This photo of Tanner Johnson (Providence, UT) was taken on 8/11/09 near Phelps Lake in the Grand Teton National Park. This bull moose was at times 15 feet off of the trail and was in no mood to let us pass him. After some tense moments, he relented and finally let us continue on our way.
